Returns & Refunds Policy
Almost all of the products we sell on our Site are handcrafted and therefore minor changes in detailing are unavoidable. Slight irregularities in prints and weaves cannot be considered as defects. Small differences render each handcrafted piece unique and the part of the beauty of handcrafted textiles lies therein.
No guarantees are given on the colour fastness. Some of the natural dyes like indigo usually bleed during the first wash, as will some handloom fabrics, like ikat. We do not offer any refunds /exchanges in such cases.
Special care is given to handmade textiles in order to retain their beauty and strength.
Please read our wash and care instructions before using the garment. If using the wrong methods of wash and care causes the damage then it will not be considered as reasons for exchange or refund.
As we consider your satisfaction at utmost importance, we are willing to replace the product if you are not happy with your purchase, provided certain parameters are met.
IN THE RARE EVENT THAT -
- You have received a wrong product or the size or colour delivered to you is different from the selected option, or if,
- You have received a defective product,
* It is considered that Slight variation due to differences in monitor settings as normal and not a reason for return.
Your grievance can be addressed immediately by taking the following steps-
- Send a mail to email@example.com with a photograph of the product that shows the mistake or damage, and a Returns and Exchanges form with all the requisite information. (Click here to download the form)
- You can return the goods to us within 10 business days of receiving it, in unused condition, along with the original tags and the original sales invoice. To return it to us, you can employ the services of a trusted courier service of your own choice or ask for a pick up from our courier partner in your city. Our support team will be able to coordinate it for you if the service is available in your region.
Please ensure that the return products are securely packaged to avoid further damage of goods while in transit. If the returned products are found damaged, they will not be replaced or refunded.
ONCE WE RECEIVE THE PACKAGE,
- Our team will inspect the returned item and check whether it is fit for replacement or refunds and send you a mail informing you of the same.
- If the item is deemed fit for return, we will then replace the returned items (subject to availability), free of cost or else refund you for the cost of the goods, to the credit/debit card that was used to make the purchase. If you had used the Cash-on-delivery option to make the payment, we will transfer the refunded amount to your bank account. (Please provide the details in the Returns and Exchanges form)
- The shipping costs incurred while sending the item(s) back to us will be reimbursed, based on a pre-determined tariff fixed by us, depending on your location. The shipping costs will be refunded to your bank account or your credit card/debit card as deemed by the mode of payment. If we are able to arrange a pickup, you do not have to pay for the service.
- If the returned products are not deemed ‘not fit’ for return then we will send the goods back to you.
- A replacement/refund issue might take 10 business days to be processed and closed from our end.
- In the case of credits issued to the credit/debit card, you must allow one billing cycle for the credit to appear on your card statement.
- The cardholder’s account is managed by the card-issuing bank and thereby we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the amount being credited to the account. Depending on the bank, the time taken for the refund to be visible in the account may vary.
We do realize that there are other instances when you may wish to exchange a product that you have purchased.
You don’t have to worry if you made a mistake in selecting your size and you are a first-time customer. We will exchange your product as long as the following conditions are met.
- The returned product for exchange should be in unused condition with its original tags intact.
- The product was not purchased on discount.
- Each purchase allows for only one exchange against it.
- Refunds might not be made if the requisite size/design is not available immediately. However, we will issue refund coupons, which you can redeem against a purchase within the next 90 days.
- Reimbursal of the shipping costs for returning the product purchased for exchange will not be done.
TO EXCHANGE A PRODUCT YOU HAVE PURCHASED -
- Send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and a Returns and Exchanges form with the requisite information. (Click here to download the form)
- The goods have to be returned within 10 business days of receiving it, in unused condition, along with the original tags and the original sales invoice. We suggest that you use the services of a trusted courier agency of your choice to return the product.
- Please ensure that the return packets are securely packaged to avoid damage of goods in transit. If found damaged, the goods will not be replaced or refunded.
ONCE WE RECEIVE THE PACKAGE -
- Our team will inspect the package and determine if it is fit for replacement and will send you a mail informing you of the same.
- We will replace the returned items (subject to availability) or else issue a refund coupon for the same amount, provided the product is deemed fit for return.
- The refund coupon made against a purchase must be redeemed in the next 90 days.
- The replaced item will be dispatched to your address immediately.
- If deemed not fit for return, we will send the goods back to you.
- We might take 10 business days to process and close an exchange issue, from our end.
Note: You, the customer, cannot return or exchange an item that had been purchased online at any of our retail stores or vice versa. You, the customer, cannot return or exchange an item, which has been purchased on discount.
